I'm Ruichun Liu, a Ph.D. candidate in Quantitative Marketing at the Gies College of Business, University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. I will be joining San José State University as an Assistant Professor of Marketing in Fall 2025.

My current research focuses on how new technologies shape consumer decisions and make a societal impact. Two main areas of my research focus are Consumer Mobility and Artificial Intelligence. I employ causal modeling, econometrics, machine learning, and deep learning approaches in my research.
